Best of Queensland Cup this SATURDAY 17th September (Played at Surfers FC)

Hope to see all the supporters turn up for this Saturday to watch Surfers Paradise take on Wilston Grange in the Best of Queensland Cup

In the earlier game the Gold Coast rep team will be taking on the Brisbane rep team.

Game times:

2pm           Brisbane rep team Vs Gold Coast rep team

3.30am      Wilston Grange Vs Surfers Paradise (GRAND FINAL)

RIP - Mark 'Budha' Vanner

The Gold Coast Old Boys would like to pass on our sincerest condolences to Jan and the rest of Marks family on the sad news of his passing last Wednesday.

Mark was a past manager of the Labrador Old Boys club as well as being a past League Secretary and was rewarded with a well deserved Life Membership of the Gold Coast Old Boys.    

There will be a minutes silence held in Marks honour this Saturday at the Best of Queensland game (played at Surfers Paradise at 3.30pm).

Prior to that there will be a gathering at the Labrador Football Club where his family will be scattering his ashes.

RIP Budha and thanks alot for all your efforts for the old boys over the years! 

Results 2011 - Grand Final (Sunday 4th September - played @ Broadbeach):
Surfers Paradise won back to back Grand Finals when they once again defeated Broadbeach in the 2011 Grand Final.  

In what was one of the most exciting Grand Finals in recent history the Broady boys hit the front with 90 seconds left on the clock when they booted 2 goals within a minute to hit the lead in what would have been a huge upset, however  Surfers not to be denied showed why they went through the season undefeated by booting the winning goal in the last minute of the game to run out 4 point victors.
